Since moving to Plymouth in 1992 in order to study media at Plymouth College of Art. I have worked in Television as a runner, rigger, live Camera man.
I have had exhibitiions in Galleriies in the South West UK and have had work published world wide. I have produced videos on culture and lifestyle, fashion and art, promoting people in the South West on the International stage. check out www.showstudio.com and www.youtube.com/chrissummerfield. My work has been getting great feedback from top fashion and lifestyle publishers. I am looking for an International publisher for a book of beach portraits taken over 18 years in the South West UK.

I was also published in New Yorks Trystate magazine. This series of pictures is from a project that has been on going looking at male form, culture, and lifestyle in the South West of England for nearly 20 years. The series is for international publishing, sales as fine art prints cards Posters books etc. All the people photographed are within the age ranges required by the stifling UK laws in 2010. Over the last Two years I have posted a lot of the pictures on you tube as slide shows. To get information out to the world.
My work is about people and who they are not what others dictate to them. We can all find faults with those who don’t conform to the so called norm. Its people who are diffrent that changes things, they also tend to rock the boat and upset the system of the day. www.youtube.com/chrissummerfield
